About Bareboat Sailing Yacht MARE NOSTRUM
MARE NOSTRUM is a Hanse 375 bareboat sailing yacht built in 2015, offering independent cruising across Greece's most coveted island chains. With three cabins accommodating up to six guests, she provides the autonomy and intimacy that discerning sailors demand, without the overhead of a professional crew.
The Hanse design balances proven seaworthiness with intuitive handling, allowing capable skippers to navigate the Aegean's variable conditions with confidence. Her layout maximises living space below deck whilst maintaining responsive sail plan dynamics above.
Highlights
- •Three ensuite cabins, naturally ventilated
- •Bareboat charter flexibility, 2015 build standard
- •Proven Hanse hull for Aegean cruising
- •Access to Cyclades, Dodecanese, and Ionian sailing grounds
The Charter Experience
Charter MARE NOSTRUM from the Cyclades Islands and explore whitewashed villages, turquoise anchorages, and wind-sculpted limestone cliffs at your own pace. The Dodecanese and Ionian regions offer equally compelling itineraries, each with distinct character. Spring and autumn winds are most predictable; summer delivers Mediterranean warmth with occasional melting breeze. Base yourself in Paros or Naxos for provisioning access, or venture further to lesser-known islets where tourist infrastructure thins and authenticity prevails.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week might depart from Paros, sailing south through Antiparos and Despotiko before reaching the sheltered anchorage at Naxos. From there, venture east toward Donoussa and the Aegean's quieter reaches, or push south toward Amorgos. Return via Tinos for its windward challenge and exceptional seafood tavernas. Night anchorages provide respite; daytime passages rarely exceed four hours between islands.
