About Luxury Crewed Sailing Yacht Terra di Mezzo III

Terra di Mezzo III is a custom-built Solaris 72 designed by Doug Peterson to sail with composure in all sea and weather conditions. Built in 2009, she combines blue-water capability with the refinement expected of a luxury charter vessel. Three ensuite cabins accommodate six guests in a king, queen, and twin configuration, each appointed with attention to comfort during extended passages and leisurely anchorage days.

The yacht's teak-lined deck flows from a sun-lounging foredeck through to a generous cockpit table ideal for alfresco dining and sundowner drinks. Below deck, spacious living areas provide refuge during poor weather or simply a tranquil retreat. Captain Edoardo and Chef Sara, both intimately familiar with Southern Italy's coast, orchestrate every detail from passage planning to home-cooked meals that reflect the season's local bounty.

Highlights

  • Three ensuite cabins with flexible sleeping arrangements for families and groups up to six
  • Expert Italian crew including a chef who sources and prepares meals reflecting local tradition
  • Snorkelling gear, fishing equipment, and sea scooters for water-based exploration
  • Blue-water sailing pedigree with proven comfort in open waters and protected anchorages alike

The Charter Experience

Charter Terra di Mezzo III from Milazzo or Naples and explore the dramatic limestone cliffs, hidden coves, and Michelin-starred villages of the Amalfi Coast. Sail to Positano, Sorrento, and Capri, or venture further to the Aeolian Islands where volcanic peaks meet crystal waters and the pace slows considerably. The crew's regional knowledge extends to lesser-known anchorages, family-run trattorias reachable by dinghy, and the timing required to visit Capri before the day-tripper crowds. Whether you prefer cosmopolitan ports or remote island villages, the itinerary bends to your preference.

Suggested Itinerary

A seven-day voyage might depart Milazzo, call at the dramatic caldera of Lipari, explore Panarea's white-washed settlements, then sail south to the Tyrrhenian coast, visiting Cefalù before heading east along the Amalfi shore. Alternatively, begin at Castellamare di Stabia and work westward, spending days around Capri and the Sorrentine Peninsula before concluding in Naples. The crew will adjust based on wind, your interests, and the season.
