About Crewed Catamaran AURA
AURA is a Lagoon 560 catamaran offering five spacious cabins across her twin hulls, accommodating ten guests in comfort. Built in 2014, she combines the stability and generous deck space inherent to catamaran design with carefully considered interiors that blend modern aesthetics and warmth. Her layout rewards those who value both social space and private retreat.
On deck, multiple gathering areas invite relaxation. The flybridge features an L-shaped lounge and sun pads with commanding views across open water. Forward, a bow lounge and sunbathing zone provides an alternative vantage point. The aft deck opens to alfresco dining, ideal for evening meals as light fades across the Aegean. Below, five cabins with en-suite bathrooms create quiet sanctuaries, whilst the saloon's panoramic windows flood the interior with natural light and create an airy, sociable hub.
Your voyage rests in capable hands. Captain John Chalkousis navigates Greek waters with deep local knowledge, supported by crew members Theodosis Siriodis and Nikos Chalkousis, whose combination of seamanship and genuine hospitality ensures both your safety and comfort throughout the charter.

The Charter Experience
A week aboard AURA unfolds across the Cyclades' turquoise anchorages, whitewashed villages, and ancient sites. From your home port in Alimos near Athens, the itinerary might encompass Santorini's dramatic cliffs, the labyrinthine streets of island towns, and secluded bays suited to swimming and reflection. Each day balances structured exploration with unscheduled discovery, guided by your crew's knowledge of hidden spots and seasonal conditions. Winter charters venture instead to the Dodecanese, offering a quieter, equally rewarding alternative to the more travelled summer islands.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day itinerary departs Alimos and moves between Cycladic islands, allowing time ashore to explore archaeological sites and village character, interspersed with days at sea anchored in crystalline bays. The crew adjusts pace and waypoints to suit prevailing conditions and your preferences, ensuring a blend of cultural discovery and maritime ease beneath starlit skies.
