About Luxury Crewed Sailing Yacht Phinisi 50
This custom-built Phinisi schooner represents the pinnacle of traditional Indonesian craftsmanship merged with modern luxury. Operating year-round between two distinct regions, she offers unparalleled access to some of Southeast Asia's most remote and biodiverse waters. Five thoughtfully appointed cabins accommodate 10 guests in comfort, each reflecting the cultural heritage of a different Indonesian region.
The vessel balances intimate exploration with expansive comfort. Multiple deck areas accommodate guests seeking solitude or social engagement, from sheltered sun decks and outdoor lounges to an aft deck reserved for private moments. The air-conditioned dining room and indoor lounge provide respite during tropical squalls, whilst the large open-air deck dining area harnesses cooling ocean breezes and panoramic views.

The Charter Experience
Your charter unfolds across two distinct itineraries governed by seasonal currents and marine life patterns. April through August, the yacht operates from Komodo in East Indonesia, home to the world's most dramatic manta ray encounters and the UNESCO World Heritage National Park. September through March, she relocates to Raja Ampat in West Papua, where the world's most biodiverse coral systems await exploration alongside remote Papuan cultures. An English-speaking expedition leader accompanies every charter, whilst a dive instructor with over 5,000 hours of Komodo experience manages the onboard dive centre. The crew of 17 delivers consistently attentive service across daily sailing passages averaging 50 nautical miles, allowing guests to wake in entirely new anchorages whilst remaining fully provisioned and comfortable.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical Komodo charter (April-August) features dawn descents into the Amuk Amuk strait to encounter manta rays, time anchored within Komodo National Park's protected waters for reef exploration, and beach stops on uninhabited islands. A Raja Ampat itinerary (September-March) prioritises the Four Kings' signature coral gardens, visits to remote Papuan villages, and night dives illuminating nocturnal reef behaviour. The voyage's rhythm balances active water pursuits with wellness at sea, allowing days of intensive diving or snorkelling alternating with leisurely sailing passages and cultural immersion ashore.
