OCEAN DIVINE is a custom-built motor yacht purpose-designed for serious divers exploring the Maldives. Conceived and operated by French owners with three decades of Indian Ocean experience, this six-cabin liveaboard combines proven diving logistics with understated comfort across four distinct deck levels. The vessel accommodates 12 guests in air-conditioned staterooms, each with private facilities and porthole views, supported by an 11-person crew including dive guides, chef, and masseuse.
The yacht's layout prioritises the diving experience. The main deck houses the salon, bar, and dining areas with HD entertainment. Bridge deck suites command ocean views. The sundeck features cushioned loungers and shaded relaxation areas, purpose-built to serve post-dive recovery. Below decks, six staterooms offer individual climate control and daily amenities. A dedicated 52-foot dive dhoni with independent compressors and nitrox systems operates from the yacht, freeing the mothership's dive deck as an extended relaxation zone.
Charter operations run November through April, targeting the North Atoll, Ari Atoll, Felidu Atoll, Central Atoll, and Southern Atolls. Three dives per day are standard. Between descents, guests enjoy snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, free-diving, and island visits. Marine life ranges from mantas and eagle rays at depth to turtles, groupers, and parrotfish on shallow reefs. Each morning brings a pre-dive briefing, three structured dives, and evening decompression punctuated by attentive service, fresh cuisine, and the company of fellow divers. Daytime intervals feature snorkelling excursions, dhoni cruises to house reef sites, or island visits. Evenings centre on the salon and bar, where the crew delivers multi-course dinners and nightly entertainment. The dedicated dive guides, wireless connectivity, and on-call masseuse ensure both safety and recovery. This is not a floating resort; it is a working platform for serious underwater exploration, staffed by professionals who know these waters intimately.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day charter might visit the North Atoll's Manta Point (November-April season, weather permitting), followed by the Ari Atoll's renowned thila dives where groupers and snappers congregate. Felidu Atoll and Central Atoll offer mixed reef and channel diving, with optional snorkelling at local islands and a beach barbecue. A final day explores the Southern Atolls before return to Male. All three daily dives are conducted from the dhoni, with rest hours spent aboard OCEAN DIVINE, snorkelling, or receiving massage treatment.
