About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 500
The Lagoon 500 combines responsive handling with the inherent stability of a purpose-built catamaran, delivering both performance and comfort across the Tyrrhenian Sea. Two hull design affords generous accommodation without sacrifice to seaworthiness.
The aft cockpit presents a sociable U-shaped arrangement overlooking the water, whilst a wet bar and sliding saloon hatch blur the line between interior and exterior living. Forward, a second cushioned cockpit offers an intimate setting for evening aperitifs. The fly bridge helm station, shaded beneath a bimini and fitted with a six-seat bench, puts all guests within comfortable proximity to the steering station.
Below deck, five cabins distribute across both hulls. The port hull houses two VIP cabins with queen berths accessible from three sides, each with ensuite head and separate shower. Starboard accommodations include an aft master cabin with sofa and generous floor space, a further double cabin, and a captain's bunk in the forward starboard hull. All cabins feature private facilities. The saloon seats ten round a modular table, with a fully equipped galley featuring stainless steel surfaces, dual refrigerators, and a three-burner cooker.

The Charter Experience
Charter from Portisco in the Emerald Coast, minutes from Porto Cervo's anchorages and the protected sailing grounds of the Maddalena archipelago. The Lagoon 500's wide beam and shallow draft navigate the shallow bays and granite-fringed coves characteristic of northeastern Sardinia. Whether anchoring off Caprera, exploring Corsican outposts, or returning to the Olbia coastline, the catamaran's dual hulls provide the platform stability that discerning sailors expect on a week-long charter across Italian waters.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical charter might depart Portisco for the Maddalena Islands, incorporating anchorages at Spargi and Budelli, before crossing toward the Strait of Bonifacio. Return via the Corsican granite formations or trace the Galluran coastline southward toward Arzachena, utilising the Lagoon 500's shallow draft to access otherwise isolated coves inaccessible to deeper-keeled vessels.
