The Charter Experience
Sicily rewards independent sailors. From Palermo and Portorosa, you'll navigate waters steeped in history and natural drama. Sail eastward towards the Aeolian Islands for volcanic landscapes and crystalline anchorages, or southwest to the Egadi Islands and their limestone cliffs. The Tyrrhenian and Ionian seas offer consistent summer winds, whilst protected bays and charming fishing villages provide sanctuary each evening.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week might begin with exploration of Palermo's surrounding coves, then push towards the Aeolian Islands (Lipari and Panarea offer excellent anchorages). Alternatively, head southwest through the Tyrrhenian towards the Egadi archipelago, with days spent snorkelling at Favignana and Levanzo before returning via Trapani's protected waters.
