The Charter Experience
Based in Portorosa, you gain access to one of Sicily's most strategically positioned sailing hubs. From here, the Aeolian Islands, Tyrrhenian coast, and approaches to the Ionian Sea lie within natural reach. Whether you favour protected anchorages amongst limestone cliffs, exploration of medieval coastal villages, or longer passages between islands, the Bavaria's responsive helm and reliable systems provide the platform for self-directed discovery. The separate galley, hot water system, and full refrigeration support extended cruising without compromise on provisioning or comfort.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week might begin with gentle exploration of the Egadi Islands (Favignana and Levanzo), progressing east towards Mondello and the Tyrrhenian approaches, before ranging north towards the Aeolians if conditions favour it. Alternatively, head south towards the limestone formations around Scopello and the crystalline waters between Trapani and the Stagnone lagoon. Most skippers balance passage days with protected anchorages that reward swimming, local seafood dining ashore, and evening relaxation on deck.
