Bareboat Catamaran Bali Catspace
Modern Bali catamaran for bareboat exploration of Sicily's Aeolian Islands
About Bareboat Catamaran Bali Catspace
The Bali Catspace offers a contemporary approach to catamaran chartering in the Mediterranean. Built in 2023, this four-cabin vessel combines practical design with considered details, including cabin berths positioned to frame water views and a layout that maximises the inherent spaciousness of twin hulls. Her stable, efficient hull form cuts through the water with minimal fuss, ideal for exploring Sicily's quieter anchorages.
Accommodation spans four double cabins with four heads, comfortably sleeping eight guests. The galley is fully equipped for provisioning from local markets, and modern amenities include autopilot, VHF radio, in-cabin fans, and outdoor speakers. A bimini provides deck shade, whilst lazy jacks ease sail handling. Tender and dinghy are included; kayaks, paddleboards, and fishing equipment are available on request.

The Charter Experience
Sicily remains one of Europe's most rewarding yacht charter destinations, offering a counterpoint to the crowded Amalfi Coast. The Aeolian Islands present an accessible week-long cruising circuit from Capo d'Orlando, combining volcanic landscapes, Greek ruins, and villages largely untouched by tourism. Italian provisioning is exceptional; the seasonal catch, local wines, and aged cheeses reward those willing to explore village markets rather than rely on onboard supplies. A bareboat charter here demands relevant experience and a valid skipper's licence, though engaging a skipper for the week removes navigational responsibility and allows full immersion in the sailing experience.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day itinerary from Capo d'Orlando encompasses Lipari's pumice beaches, Salina's volcanic drama, Panarea's archaeological intrigue, and Stromboli's nocturnal glow. Quieter anchorages at Filicudi and Alicudi reward early starters. Provisioning stops at Lipari town and Salina's port villages provide fresh fish, Malvasia wine, and local capers. Most crews complete the circuit in leisurely fashion, anchoring early to swim and explore ashore.
