About Crewed Catamaran AEGEUS
AEGEUS is a 2023 Lagoon 51 crewed catamaran offering intimate access to Greece's most coveted islands. Six cabins accommodate up to twelve guests across a master suite and five VIP staterooms, each with private ensuite facilities. The design prioritises comfort and socialisation, with a light-filled saloon, full galley, and multiple outdoor entertaining spaces.
Captain Peter brings nineteen years of Mediterranean sailing expertise and a genuine passion for Greek maritime heritage. Zoi complements his leadership with Mediterranean culinary knowledge and an attentiveness to guest wellbeing. Together they curate each voyage to your preferences, whether that means historical exploration, water sports, or unhurried island discovery.
The vessel's catamaran hull delivers stability across the Aegean's waters whilst twin engines and sailing capability provide flexibility in routing. A dinghy with outboard motor grants easy access to quieter anchorages and smaller harbours beyond reach of larger yachts. Onboard water toys include sea scooters, paddle boards, snorkel gear, and a subglider for active guests.
Highlights
- •Twin trampolines on the foredeck and flybridge with cushioned seating for unobstructed Aegean views
- •Aft entertaining deck ideal for alfresco dining, cooled by sea breezes and anchored near Mykonos or Paros
- •Fully-equipped galley and dining saloon for fresh Mediterranean cuisine prepared onboard
- •Dinghy and water sports selection including sea scooters, paddle boards, snorkel gear, and subglider
The Charter Experience
Your charter begins at Marina Zeas in Athens, where AEGEUS awaits. The Cyclades unfold across your week with call options at Mykonos, Paros, Sifnos, and lesser-known anchorages, each chosen by your captain based on weather, your mood, and opportunities for swimming, dining ashore, or exploring whitewashed villages. Mornings might see you at anchor in crystalline shallows; afternoons, a leisurely meal on the aft deck as the sun settles. Evenings offer sunset drinks on the flybridge or a tender ride to a harborside taverna. The crew manages provisioning, navigation, and yacht operations, leaving you free to simply be present.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week might commence with departure from Athens, crossing to Mykonos for an evening ashore. Day two takes you south towards Paros and the island's sheltered anchorages, with swimming and snorkeling opportunities. Sifnos rewards a daytime visit with its reputation for exceptional seafood and pottery tradition. Quieter islets in the Cyclades chain offer anchorages where the sea bed is visible and local fishing villages remain largely undiscovered. Your final days allow for a return itinerary or deeper exploration eastward, with Captain Peter adjusting the plan based on conditions and your preferences.
