About Crewed Catamaran WONDERWAY
WONDERWAY is a Royal Cape 53 catamaran built in 2024, purpose-designed for discerning groups seeking stability and space across the turquoise waters of the Leeward Islands. Her striking blue hull cuts through the Caribbean with effortless grace, whilst the open-plan interior marries teak warmth with contemporary refinement. The saloon and dining area serve equally well for intimate gatherings or convivial celebrations, whilst four cabins (two kings, two queens, one convertible to twin) ensure privacy and comfort for eight guests.
On deck, WONDERWAY delivers the spaces you'll actually use. The expansive foredeck hosts plush loungers facing endless horizons, whilst the aft deck provides a properly appointed alfresco dining venue. Below, each cabin features a private en-suite, eliminating the compromises of smaller vessels. The result is a catamaran that feels proportionate to its crew and guest list, with genuine comfort rather than clever design tricks.
Captain Pete and Chef Allison form your core crew, bringing decades of combined experience across Alaska, Baja, the BVIs, and beyond. Pete holds California Maritime Academy credentials and a deep regard for blue-water handling. Allison sources local Caribbean ingredients to craft menus that reflect the region's culinary character. Your itinerary is bespoke, shaped collaboratively with the crew from the moment you step aboard in Tortola.

The Charter Experience
The Leeward Islands unfold across seven days as your floating base explores the British Virgin Islands' most coveted anchorages. Snorkel vibrant coral gardens near Virgin Gorda, paddle-board secluded coves, or simply anchor off Norman Island and let alfresco dinners become the main event. Water toys include a 40HP tender, two stand-up boards, snorkel gear, wakeboards, and fishing equipment. The catamaran's shallow draft permits access to protected bays unreachable by monohulls, whilst her twin-hull stability means flat anchorages and confident sailing in the prevailing trades. Summer charters in the Bahamas are equally available for those seeking alternative waters.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day charter departs Tortola and threads through the BVIs' most rewarding anchorages. Day one settles you into the rhythm off Jost Van Dyke. Days two and three explore the Baths at Virgin Gorda and snorkelling at Anegada's shallow reefs. Mid-week, perhaps a rum shop lunch on Tortola or a full day's sail to the Northern Islands. The final days drift through the Bitter End area or head south to Norman Island's luminous caves. Your crew adjusts based on wind, mood, and whim.
