About Luxury Crewed Sailing Yacht WHISPER
WHISPER is a Holland Jachtbouw sloop conceived by legendary naval architect Ted Hood, built in 2003 and refined ever since. Her newly refitted teak decks and meticulous maintenance preserve the elegant proportions of her design whilst delivering genuine sailing performance. Accommodation spans three staterooms sleeping six guests, each with ensuite facilities, arranged around a full-beam master cabin with centreline queen bed.
The saloon presents traditional yacht architecture at its finest, with rich wood cabinetry, stately teak sole, and interiors styled by Andrew Winch. A raised pilot house with L-shaped banquette and bar overlooks the water; the dining area transitions seamlessly between formal service and relaxed entertaining. On deck, a capacious cockpit accommodates ten, whilst the tender garage houses a Rendova 15 with outboard power and comprehensive watersports inventory.
Captain Clive Youlton and Chef Chris Deighan lead a five-person crew trained to anticipate every requirement. Communications, entertainment, and navigation systems are contemporary; the atmosphere remains timeless. Available year-round across the Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, and New England.

The Charter Experience
Charter WHISPER in the Leeward Islands and you inherit a vessel equally at home under full canvas or at anchor. Sail to Nevis, St Barthélemy, or Antigua; the yacht's performance handles both trade-wind passages and protected anchorages. Tender excursions, snorkelling, and fishing integrate seamlessly with civilised onboard living. Extended itineraries reach the Virgin Islands or venture north to New England coastal waters, extending the season into summer and autumn.
Suggested Itinerary
A week typically unfolds northward from St Maarten through the Leewards, calling at Anguilla for overnight anchoring, Barbuda for pristine beaches, and Nevis for colonial heritage ashore. Alternatively, explore the British Virgin Islands with their sheltered harbours and transparent anchorages, or undertake longer passages toward Antigua and the Windwards. New England summers suit those preferring temperate sailing and New England coastlines.
