About Luxury Crewed Catamaran SEA DOG
SEA DOG is a 2019 Leopard 50 purpose-built for the crystalline waters of the British Virgin Islands and US Virgin Islands. Named Charter Boat of the Year by Cruising World, this catamaran accommodates six guests across three queen cabins, each with private en-suite facilities. The open-plan saloon features an expansive wall of glass and overhead skylight that dissolves the boundary between interior comfort and seascape, whilst the generous flybridge provides an elevated perch for sundowners and morning coffee.
Captain Alan and Chef Iona form a seasoned crew committed to bespoke itineraries tailored to your preferences. Iona sources fresh local ingredients to craft daily menus that reflect Caribbean flavours, whilst Alan navigates the archipelago with the kind of intimate knowledge that transforms a charter into genuine discovery. The catamaran's shallow draft and dual-hull design allow access to anchorages and bays beyond the reach of conventional monohulls.
Onboard amenities include a 14-foot tender with 30 hp outboard, two stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear, floating mat, wakeboard, and fishing rods. For certified divers, rendez-vous diving with local operators can be arranged. The alfresco dining area on deck is the natural gathering point; the tranquil master suite with lounge area and television offers private respite when desired.

The Charter Experience
Charter SEA DOG between April and August or November and December 2026 and receive 10% discount on six or seven-night voyages (certain holiday weeks excluded). Embark directly in St Thomas with airport pickup arranged, or begin your journey from Tortola to explore the full breadth of the Virgin Islands. Days unfold according to your rhythm: anchorages in Jost Van Dyke, The Baths, or the Bitter End; snorkelling over shallow reefs; unhurried passages between islands where the only schedule is the sunset. Evenings centre on deck dining beneath tropical stars, with Iona's cooking and Alan's local insights creating the substance of memory.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day charter departs St Thomas or Tortola, calling at Sir Francis Drake Channel and the anchorages of Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, and Anegada. Morning snorkelling over coral gardens precedes leisurely afternoon sails to protected bays. Chef Iona prepares lunch from the day's fresh provisions whilst you drift at anchor; evenings are spent dining on the aft deck, the islands silhouetted against a darkening sky. The itinerary remains flexible, shaped by weather, your interests, and those quieter moments when the best plan is no plan at all.
