About Bareboat Catamaran RIVERA
RIVERA is a Catana Bali 4.5 catamaran offering the comfort and stability essential for extended cruising in Southeast Asia. Her generous beam creates exceptional living space across six guest cabins, making her ideal for families or groups seeking self-skippered adventure. The catamaran's modern design balances performance with everyday habitability, equipped with air conditioning, watermaker, and a fully functional galley to support independent exploration.
Accommodation spans four double cabins and two singles, sleeping up to twelve guests (eight comfortably). Four heads with hot water ensure privacy and convenience across the accommodation. The saloon and cockpit feature integrated audio systems, whilst a hard-top Bimini provides reliable shade for tropical sailing. An autopilot and lazy jacks simplify day-to-day handling, ideal for experienced sailors seeking reduced crew demands.

The Charter Experience
Charter RIVERA from Phuket to explore the Andaman Sea and South China Sea. Your bareboat adventure grants full autonomy over routing and pace, whether threading the limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay, discovering secluded anchorages, or sampling coastal communities throughout the region. The catamaran's shallow draft and dual hulls reach anchorages larger monohulls cannot. A tender with outboard engine, kayaks, paddleboards, and fishing equipment are available, enabling intimate exploration of reefs, hidden beaches, and fishing grounds. Note that bareboat charters require demonstrated sailing experience and an updated CV; alternatively, engage a skipper (who occupies one guest cabin) to mentor or lead your passage.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week might depart Phuket heading northeast toward the dramatic limestone peaks of Phang Nga Bay, anchoring in protected lagoons and exploring mangrove-lined channels by kayak. Days two and three venture further into the Andaman Sea, visiting remote island clusters and pristine reef systems. By mid-week, sail to quieter anchorages along the Ranong coast or westward toward the Surin Islands, pausing for snorkelling and fishing. The final days offer flexibility to revisit favourite spots or transit back to Phuket, with ample time for leisurely provisioning and crew rest.
