About Bareboat Catamaran MELETH
Meleth is a Bali 4.1 catamaran moored in Phuket, purpose-built for self-sufficient sailing through Thailand's island waters. Four double cabins accommodate up to ten guests, each en suite, with sufficient galley and saloon space for extended voyages. The 2020-built hull benefits from modern systems: Raymarine navigation suite (autopilot, GPS chart plotter, depth sounder, wind instruments), electric anchor windlass, and a water maker producing 105 litres per hour. Solar panels and a 1600W converter ensure reliable power management throughout your charter.
On deck, the flybridge bimini top provides essential shade whilst the forward cockpit seats and dining table serve as the social hub. An outside shower with hot and cold water, swimming ladder, and davit-launched tender complete the practical layout. Below, the galley includes a gas cooker, oven, refrigerator with dedicated converter, and freezer. Fusion audio with Bluetooth and outdoor speakers adds leisure appeal, whilst electric fans and cabin 12V sockets cater to modern comfort expectations.

The Charter Experience
Bareboat charters from Phuket grant direct access to Phang Nga Bay and the Andaman Sea's limestone formations, hidden anchorages, and teal waters. This format suits experienced sailors seeking autonomy; you navigate your own itinerary, set your own pace, and anchor where guidebooks fear to tread. Water toys (kayaks, paddle boards, fishing equipment) may be hired separately, extending exploration beyond the yacht's hull. Note that bareboat certification and a sailing resume are required; optional skipper services are available at additional cost, with skipper meals included in your responsibility.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical seven-day cruise departs Phuket towards Phang Nga Bay, exploring the dramatic karst islands and sheltered lagoons of Khao Phing Kan. Anchor near Koh Hong for pristine snorkeling, then proceed to the quieter waters around Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai. Finish with a passage to James Bond Island or venture south towards Koh Lanta, where turquoise shallows and mangrove-fringed bays reward early risers with solitude and wildlife sightings unavailable to day-trippers.
