About Gulet LONG ISLAND
LONG ISLAND is a Fethiye Shipyard gulet completed in 2019, designed for discerning travellers seeking authentic Turkish coastal exploration without compromising on comfort. Five generously proportioned en-suite cabins accommodate ten guests across four doubles and one twin, each appointed with considered furnishings and modern amenities. The vessel's open-plan design prioritises social gatherings and relaxation, with an expansive flybridge for sundowners, a capacious saloon finished in warm timber tones, and a sheltered dining area on the main deck.
The swimming platform serves as your gateway to the Aegean's clearest waters, equipped with a curated collection of water toys including kayaks, paddleboards, snorkel gear, and a fully stocked dinghy. The crew of six, helmed by Captain Umit with Chef Denis commanding the galley, calibrates each day to your preferences, whether that means anchoring at secluded coves, accessing D Maris Bay's nightlife by tender, or structuring leisurely mornings around local exploration.

- •Dinghy, kayaks, paddleboards, water skis, snorkel gear, and beach games included

The Charter Experience
Turkish gulet cruising rewards those who value substance over spectacle. Your week unfolds across the Bodrum, Marmaris, and Gocek coastlines, moving between characterful anchorages where the water remains clear enough for meaningful snorkelling. Chef Denis prepares daily menus drawing on Turkish seafood and Aegean produce, timed to your schedule and refined to suit your palate. The crew handles logistics, navigation, and tender operations, freeing you to divide your days between active pursuits (water sports, coastal villages, historical sites) and restorative quiet (reading on the flybridge, swimming at dawn, evening deck suppers). This is sailing without roughing it, and exploration without bureaucratic strain.
Suggested Itinerary
A representative week might depart Bodrum for the pristine waters around Gocek, with days anchored at Oludeniz and Butterfly Valley for snorkelling and swimming. Move south toward Marmaris, breaking the journey at the ancient sites of Dalyan or the quiet village anchorages near Ekincik. The final leg returns northward, allowing time for tender excursions into lesser-known bays where few vessels venture. Evening dining alternates between the sheltered main deck and the flybridge, depending on weather and mood. Throughout, the crew anticipates rather than interrupts, and the dinghy remains fuelled and ready for spontaneous exploration.
