About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 46
The Lagoon 46 is a contemporary catamaran purpose-built for Caribbean cruising, offering the stability and space of a dual-hull design with uncluttered sightlines across the British Virgin Islands. Her layout prioritises outdoor living, with a generous stern dining platform, flybridge lounge, and bow sunpad that command unobstructed views of turquoise anchorages.
Below deck, teak joinery and floor-to-ceiling glazing create an inviting saloon suffused with natural light. Four cabins (one master, three doubles) each feature private facilities, providing genuine privacy for up to eight guests without the constraint of shared bathrooms or cramped quarters.
Whether bareboat or crewed, this Lagoon combines shallow-draft manoeuvrability with modern systems and a respectable suite of water toys including kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling equipment, and a dinghy with outboard engine.
Highlights
- •Dual-hull catamaran design offers stability, shallow draft, and expansive deck space
- •Four private cabins with ensuite bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests
- •Stern alfresco dining area and flybridge lounge positioned for sunset and sunrise viewing
- •Comprehensive water sports inventory: dinghy, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkelling gear, and water skis
The Charter Experience
The British Virgin Islands remain the gold standard for crewed and bareboat Caribbean charters. Sheltered anchorages, consistent trade winds, and exceptional visibility make the archipelago accessible to confident helmspeople and equally rewarding for those preferring professional crew. A week aboard the Lagoon 46 encompasses Norman Island's signature caves, the Baths at Virgin Gorda, and Anegada's remote cays, with nightly mooring in protected waters and morning swims over pristine reefs.
Suggested Itinerary
A typical week departs Tortola, calling at Norman Island for cave exploration and snorkelling, then northeast to Virgin Gorda to swim at the Baths and anchor in protected Gun Creek. From there, Anegada's shallow banks reward unhurried exploration, with excellent visibility and solitude. The return passage to Tortola via Jost Van Dyke permits one final anchorage and beach landing before week's end.
