About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 450 Owner Version
The Lagoon 450 Owner Version represents a significant step up from its predecessor, with a more expansive sail plan, enhanced cockpit layout, and genuinely thoughtful design refinements. The aft transoms offer superior weather protection, while the flying bridge transforms your hours at anchor into genuine relaxation.
Three generously proportioned double cabins, each with private en suite facilities, sleep six guests in the standard configuration (up to twelve with daytime arrangements). The master cabin commands particular space and comfort, befitting the owner-version specification.
This bareboat catamaran arrives comprehensively equipped for independent cruising. Twin hulls provide the stability and shallow draft essential for Bahamian exploration, whilst modern systems including air conditioning, generator power, and a full galley ensure genuine comfort throughout your charter.
Highlights
- •Battened mainsail and roller genoa with lazy jack system for confident, single-handed handling
- •Flying bridge sun area and enlarged cockpit with protected aft transoms
- •Three en suite double cabins with air conditioning throughout
- •Generator, battery charger, and 220V inverter plus full galley with oven, microwave, and ice maker
The Charter Experience
Charter the Lagoon 450 from Marsh Harbour and you gain access to the central Bahamas' most rewarding anchorages. Transition seamlessly between the protected waters of the Abacos, the crystalline shallows of the Exuma Cays, and remote Family Islands that larger vessels cannot easily approach. The catamaran's beam and shallow draft transform what would be tedious passages into efficient, stable passages, leaving more time for snorkelling, diving, and genuine exploration.
Suggested Itinerary
Depart Marsh Harbour and establish yourself in the northern Abacos' sheltered anchorages (Tilloo Cay, Man O' War Cay) before pushing south towards the Exuma Cays. The shallow draft permits entry to Compass Cay, Thunderball Grotto, and the remote southwest islands that define bareboat exploration in the region. Return via the Berry Islands if conditions favour it.
