About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 450 (2014SH)
The Lagoon 450 offers a rare combination of space and performance for bareboat charters in Southeast Asia. This catamaran accommodates up to ten guests across six cabins (four doubles with ensuite facilities, two singles in the forward hulls), making it ideal for families or groups seeking self-skippered sailing.
Four distinct living areas—main saloon, aft cockpit, forward cockpit, and flybridge—ensure guests rarely feel confined. The design prioritises comfort without compromise: full air conditioning, dual steering stations accessible from both sides of the cockpit, and excellent sailing performance under canvas define this platform.
Highlights
- •Four doubles with ensuite bathrooms; two additional single berths in the bows
- •Flybridge with seating for six, dual helm stations, and forward cockpit for entertaining
- •Full air conditioning throughout; snorkelling gear and dinghy with outboard included
- •Shallow-draft catamaran design ideal for Andaman anchorages and island exploration
The Charter Experience
Charter from Phuket and explore the Andaman Sea at your own pace. The catamaran's shallow draft accesses anchorages inaccessible to monohulls, from limestone karst formations to white-sand beaches. Included snorkelling equipment and tender with outboard motor unlock coves and reef systems; the flybridge—which seats six comfortably—becomes your floating vantage point at sunset. Minimum charter duration is five days (seven days during peak periods).
Suggested Itinerary
Depart Phuket for Phang Nga Bay's limestone islands and James Bond Lagoon. Anchor at Koh Panak or Koh Tapu, then sail east toward the Phi Phi Islands. A passage to Koh Lanta offers pristine reefs and quieter anchorages; return via Krabi's four islands. Typical week allows 40–50 nautical miles of leisurely cruising with extended time at chosen destinations.
