About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 40
The Lagoon 42 represents a new generation of multihull design. Her distinctive visual identity merges Lagoon's proven engineering heritage with refined, contemporary styling. Panoramic glazing and integrated portholes flood the interior with natural light, whilst the streamlined hull form and prominent chamfer running bow to stern create an unmistakably purposeful silhouette.
Two forward hulls provide four generous double cabins and two single berths, accommodating up to ten guests comfortably. The aft cabin features a semi-island bed configuration with substantial storage. Thoughtful interior planning by Nauta Design prioritises flow, volume and luminosity, creating spaces that feel as spacious as the sea itself.
The cockpit is conceived for living and entertaining. A starboard dining table seats twelve, with a recreation area and aft seating along the beam. The forward deck provides a sunbathing zone. Large aft transoms lead to a swim platform with easy tender access, whilst the helm station remains accessible from both cockpit and deck for seamless crew communication.
Highlights
- •Dual-hull stability and shallow draft ideal for Seychelles anchorages
- •Six cabins sleep ten guests with flexible cabin configurations

The Charter Experience
Charter this Lagoon from Mahe and explore the Seychelles' remote anchorages, turquoise lagoons and granite-fringed islands. The catamaran's stability and shallow draft suit island-hopping across this archipelago perfectly. Snorkelling equipment and tender are included; provision your own provisioning, or arrange crew support for a more relaxed passage. Early season rates from EUR 4,100 per week provide genuine value for larger groups seeking shared adventure in the Indian Ocean.
Suggested Itinerary
Depart Mahe and drift south toward Praslin and La Digue, anchoring in protected bays for snorkelling. Continue to the quieter outer islands – Félicité, Frégate or the Amirantes – where granite peaks and pristine reefs reward slower cruising. The catamaran's beam and stability reward longer island stays, allowing time to explore ashore while guests rotate dinghy expeditions and water activities.
