About Bareboat Catamaran Lagoon 380
The Lagoon 380 is purpose-built for bareboat cruising in Thailand's tropical waters. Her signature raised helm position and open-plan saloon maximise outdoor living, with a generous trampoline forward ideal for anchoring in secluded bays. The design flows seamlessly between deck and cabin, keeping you connected to the warm sea breeze whilst providing ample shade when needed.
Handling is straightforward with all reefing lines and halyards leading back to the helm, even with minimal experienced crew. Below decks, four double cabins accommodate eight guests comfortably. The galley includes a double hob and gas oven for proper provisioning, whilst solar panels, a wind generator, and water maker ensure self-sufficiency during extended cruises away from marina services.
Included are snorkelling equipment, dinghy with outboard engine, bed linen and towels. The bareboat charter spans from noon on day one to noon on departure, with a five-day minimum (seven days during peak season).
Highlights
- •Four double cabins sleep eight guests with privacy and comfort
- •Raised helm and open saloon maximise views and natural ventilation
- •Self-sufficient systems include solar panels, wind generator, and water maker
- •Snorkelling kit and dinghy included for shallow-water exploration
The Charter Experience
Base yourself in Phuket and navigate the Andaman Sea's limestone karsts, hidden lagoons, and coral gardens at your own pace. Phang Nga Bay rewards slow exploration, with anchorages suited to the Lagoon's shallow draft and dual-hull stability. Morning swims, afternoon island hikes, and evening sunsets watched from the trampoline define the rhythm of bareboat sailing in Southeast Asia's warmest waters.
Suggested Itinerary
Depart Phuket and sail northeast towards Phang Nga Bay, anchoring near James Bond Island and the dramatic rock formations of Koh Tapu. Continue north to the Similan Islands for pristine coral reefs and white-sand beaches, then return via Koh Phi Phi, timing your passage to catch calm morning conditions typical of the high season.
