About Luxury Crewed Motor Yacht DB9
DB9 is the original Palmer Johnson 170, a champagne-finished motor yacht launched in 2010 and comprehensively refitted in 2020. Accommodating 12 guests across five staterooms, she combines purposeful design with refined entertaining spaces. The full-beam owner's suite, two queen VIP cabins, and twin staterooms each feature en-suite bathrooms appointed in marble.
Outdoor living defines the charter experience. An 8-metre foredeck swimming pool anchors the upper decks, whilst the sundeck hosts an open-air cinema with projection capability. Two Jacuzzis—one on the aft deck, one on the flybridge—offer elevated vantage points across The Bahamas. Captain Tom and his crew excel in regional knowledge, curating anchorages and dining experiences across the 700-plus islands.
Water sports reflect serious recreational intent. The complement includes a custom Castoldi tender, dual Yamaha jet skis, twin Seabobs, E-foil boards, diving gear with compressor, and full wakeboard/waterski provisioning. DB9 holds RYA Jet Ski Training Centre certification, enabling licensed instruction during your charter.

The Charter Experience
Charter DB9 from Nassau or the Exumas to navigate turquoise waters and remote anchorages known only to the crew. Days combine swimming, diving, and exploration of secluded cays with exceptional galley service. Evenings transition to cocktails under the stars at either Jacuzzi or poolside cinema gatherings. The Leeward Islands, Virgin Islands, and Bahamas itineraries suit both activity-driven guests and those seeking serene island time.
Suggested Itinerary
A seven-day itinerary from Nassau traverses crystal-line Exuma Cays, calling at Compass Cay for pig-spotting and swimming, then Thunderball Grotto for diving. Anchor at remote Staniel Cay for pristine isolation, transition to the Abacos for world-class bonefishing grounds, and return via Nassau's dining scene. Nightfall brings poolside gatherings and projected films on the sundeck.
