About Crewed Catamaran BLACK TORTUGA
Black Tortuga is a Fountaine Pajot Saona 47, a purpose-built cruising catamaran that balances performance with comfort. The twin-hull design delivers exceptional stability and shallow-draft access to anchorages across the US Virgin Islands, whilst the generous beam provides the interior volume expected of a serious charter platform. Built in 2018, she combines Fountaine Pajot's meticulous engineering with thoughtful ergonomics throughout.
On deck, the wide transoms and accessible platform make boarding effortless. The foredeck features both trampolines and sun lounges, offering flexible spaces for reading, sunbathing, or simply watching the horizon. Below, the saloon opens via panoramic windows that flood the space with Caribbean light. An L-shaped galley provides serious cooking capability, whilst four queen cabins with private heads offer the privacy rarely found on multihulls of this size. Each cabin is bright and well-ventilated, separated from the main living area.
Captain Troy and Chef Jody form the backbone of the Black Tortuga experience. Their combined expertise and collaborative approach means the itinerary adapts to your pace and preferences. Whether you prefer active days exploring reefs and anchorages or leisurely passages between islands, they curate each moment of your charter.
