About Bareboat Sailing Yacht Bavaria 45
This Bavaria Cruiser 45 is engineered for independent sailing in the Adriatic. Developed with Farr Yacht Design and BMW Group Designworks USA, the yacht combines responsive handling with generous living space. Twin rudders, dual steering positions and a spacious cockpit make passage-making intuitive, whilst the well-ventilated interior—naturally lit and uncluttered—suits extended cruising.
Four cabins sleep up to ten guests across flexible configurations. The saloon feels bright and open; galley and heads are positioned for easy access underway. A large lowering transom simplifies tender operations and swimming. Free WiFi (up to five connections) keeps you connected between anchorages.
Highlights
- •Twin-rudder design with dual helms for confident coastal sailing
- •Four cabins with natural ventilation and efficient layout for longer charters
- •Electric windlass, autopilot, GPS chartplotter and wind/speed/depth instruments
- •Cockpit shower, hot water system, refrigeration and onboard WiFi
The Charter Experience
The Dalmatian coast rewards patient sailing. Work the thermal winds between Dubrovnik and the Elaphiti islands, or push north towards Hvar and Brač for reliable afternoon breeze. Shallow-draft exploration into Mljet's saltwater lakes is possible; steep limestone cliffs and pine forests frame each anchorage. Bareboat independence means you set the pace—anchoring where others cannot reach, provisioning in working harbours, and arriving at quiet coves at dawn.
Suggested Itinerary
Depart Dubrovnik on Saturday afternoon and sail the Elaphiti archipelago, anchoring off Lopud or Sipan. By mid-week, push south to Mljet or west to Korčula, exploring medieval towns and sheltered coves. A relaxed return trajectory allows final nights in Gruz or nearby bays before Saturday morning check-out.
