About Bareboat Catamaran BALI 4.8
The Bali 4.8 is a modern catamaran designed for group sailing without compromise. Her distinctive rigid foredeck replaces traditional trampolines, creating genuine sunbathing space where you can lounge with unobstructed views. The garage-style saloon door pivots fully open, merging interior and exterior living into one expansive social hub. Five cabins accommodate ten guests, each with ensuite facilities and climate control.
Below deck, the four double cabins and one twin bunk cabin are generously proportioned, with separate showers ensuring privacy for larger parties. Above, a panoramic roof terrace provides the ideal vantage point for Bahamian sunsets. The design philosophy is straightforward: lightweight construction for responsive sailing, generous volume for comfortable living.

The Charter Experience
Bareboat charter in The Bahamas means complete autonomy across over 700 islands and cays. Navigate turquoise shallows and sheltered anchorages from Nassau to the Exumas, where soft-sand beaches, secluded coves, and excellent provisioning await. The catamaran's stability and spacious decks suit both leisurely anchorages and proper sailing. Water toys including kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing equipment are available to enhance your exploration. Relevant sailing experience and a skipper's licence are required for bareboat operation; alternatively, hire a professional skipper to occupy one cabin whilst you retain full charter control.
Suggested Itinerary
A week-long cruise might begin in Nassau, then sail south to the Exumas, exploring anchorages such as Thunderball Grotto, Compass Cay, and the Shroud Cays. Visit local settlements for authentic Bahamian culture and cuisine, or remain at pristine uninhabited islands. The catamaran's shallow draft permits access to protected waters and coves unavailable to deeper-keeled vessels.
